  Green Caribbean Amber

  <p>This green amber is mined in the Caribbean Sea area and is derived from ancient tree resins relative to current tropical trees called algarroba (type of bean) . Its age is about 20 million years. The color is pale yellow-green with not perfect coloring and it is natural. In the market the so called “green amber” in very vivid green colors that look like peridot or emerald are just the result of thermal processing both in amber or fossils (copals) from various locations.</p> <p>Note: Beads of natural materials may display some variations in color, weight and size.</p>

The original Caribbean amber is heated in special autoclaves and the procedures that follow, tint the final products red or blue, which is a company secret of our suppliers.
